THE STREAMS OF LIFE THAT RUNS THROUGH MY VEINS: PATRICIA MOGOMOTSI
Patricia Kefilwe Mogomotsi is an Associate Professor of Natural Resources Economics at the Okavango Research Institute, University of Botswana. She holds a PhD in Tourism Management from North-West University, South Africa. In addition to her PhD, she holds four other qualifications, namely Master of Financial Management, Master of Economics, BComm Honors (Economics) and BA (Economics). Her research interests include natural resources management, human-wildlife conflict, environmental conservation, tourism economics, institutional economics and sustainable development, among others.
Prof Mogomotsi has published over forty (40) refereed journal articles and book chapters on tourism, natural resources management and other related topics. Her other publications include conference proceedings and about twenty (20) published abstracts. She has made over twenty (20) conference presentations regionally and internationally. Since joining the Okavango Research Institute in 2015, Mogomotsi has supervised thirteen (13) students at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She served as a coordinator of the Sustainable Tourism program at the Okavango Research Institute, where she is currently serving as the coordinator of Training.
